Self Love
It's a bit of a contentious subject isn't it!? The idea of loving oneself, when most of us spend a lot of time critiquing ourselves, and generally not being our biggest cheerleader.
This month we're focusing on exploring the idea of self love and acceptance on our mats. We can all get a little critical of ourselves during our asana practice - "why can't i balance today?" etc. But the practice of yoga teaches us how everything constantly changes. We can get hung up on the idea of perfection, or just accept that whilst some days will feel wonderful, others may be a little tougher.
Perhaps if we can begin to accept this on the mat, it can translate off of it too!
